We have a variety of classes across the week and pride ourselves in being able to cater to all fitness levels, providing progressive modifications for many of our exercises. Our aim is to educate our members in both exercise and nutrition so they can achieve a healthy and balanced lifestyle.
These are our women’s only weights sessions and are for anyone looking to get lean, toned and strong! Alternating the focus between being upper or lower body - with our Friday (Manukau) and Thursday (OTH) sessions being a combination of both.

These sessions are an energy packed full body cardio workout! They are high intensity using a variety of exercise equipment and body weighted movements. Each class is different, fun and challenges you to take your fitness to the next level. The combination of strength and cardio training will have you tightening up fast and burning calories even long after the class has finished!
Combining technical coaching, partner boxing drills and plenty of cardiovascular training these classes are a fun, yet challenging way to up your fitness! Our boxing trainers are experienced and commit to providing you with foundational skills that you will build on week by week.
These sessions are designed to increase and challenge your fitness and overall physical performance! Metabolic conditioning, we mix weighted and body weighted exercises to provide a full body conditioning workout. A step up from our Regular classes, these classes require a high work rate and will push you to empty that energy tank and drive you to push harder than you thought possible! Focused on building strength, conditioning and increasing endurance. Upper and lower body muscle groups are alternated at each class to provide a full body workout across the week. We focus hugely on form and key techniques to help you build a good foundation of the essential strength-building lifts such as Squat, Deadlift and Bench Press. These core lifts are coupled with a variety of strength and endurance building movements to ensure you become well rounded in your weightlifting.
I started coming along to Fitmumz 2 years ago. I had been following Brooke on social media for about a year and had decided if I was ever going to exercise I wanted to go to Fitmumz, which was easy to think as I never thought I would go to the gym.
Around this same time I began suffering from anxiety and panic attacks after the premature birth and death of our third child. I was advised by two medical professionals that I would benefit from some sort of exercise so I plucked up the courage and contacted Brooke.
At the start of 2016 I was at my heaviest, weighing in at 112kgs. I was struggling to fit my clothes properly and the final straw came when I saw pictures of myself with my family over New Years.
I had always been an active person, went from gym to gym, tried bootcamps, constantly yoyo dieting and being one dimensional in my training, so when I did ever get results they never lasted. Well this all changed for good when I joined a 6 Week Challenge at FITmumz One Tree Hill in May 2016.
I am 52 years old, a wife, a mother to three and a Nan to one. I have always been on the chunky side, big boned, thick skin but still pretty active - well so I thought until I had to do several burpees......lol.
I joined Fitmumz in October 2015 after attending some classes my workplace had set up for staff. I was suffering from arthritis in the knees and my Doctor had informed me that I needed to lose weight to alleviate the pain and the mobility issues I was having.
